The massing configuration of the home considers the sun’s orientation with relation to the adjacent building that emphasizes natural lighting from the sky and cross ventilation that creates an eco-friendly atmosphere that is luxurious yet sustainable.
Instead of one large building, the site plan involves two separate homes that are important in creating space to breathe in relation to the space’s architecture. Separating these homes is a private courtyard that accommodates space for gatherings and/or private escapes from day-to-day life.
Building A in particular is fashioned in a linear “L” shape accommodating a car-park space that sets itself apart from the context of the neighboring community. With clean white-colored construction and contrasting dark-metal trim and light brown roofing, the home offers a stylish concept without sparing any cozy vibes. Recessed massing is utilized on the 2nd floor paired with wrought iron railing that is housed by a wooden trellis, appealing to the uniquely ornate architectural fashion as well.
